As Grokster Goes to the Supreme Court: File-sharing and Copyright

New technologies have always created tension for copyright law. The current debate about peer to peer file sharing technologies highlights this tension. This talk will outline the basic challenge for the law and provide an overview of the state of the law as the Grokster case is considered by the U.S. Supreme Court.
